Use and Care
Each object and piece of jewelry is unique and personally handcrafted in my home studio.
I oxidize most metals meaning they come to you with a slight patina or tarnish.
Sterling silver will continue to patina (tarnish) at a very slow rate when exposed to air.
To avoid continued oxidation keep your item in the box it was shipped in when not in use. The box contains a tarnish resistant lining.
If your item becomes more oxidized or tarnished over time you can maintain the original finish by using very fine steel wool or an abrasive pad such as Scotch-Brite™ and lightly rubbing in a random pattern until you achieve the finish you desire.
Jeweler’s brass will also patina over time and can be cared for in the same way.
Do not wear your jewelry in the bath or shower as this may damage the finish, stones, pearls and settings.
